After the black fabric was partially dishcarged with bleach in a radiating pattern, heat set pastels were applied to color some of the areas that had been lightened. The piece was then machine quilted, some black ribbon was added, and three squares of gold foil were applied.
The piece measures 12" x 27", and is $350. This piece is currently at the Illinois Artisan's Gallery in Whittington, Illinois.
