A piece of polished cotton was hand painted and embellished to mimic a breaking wave. Because the background is blue, the slashes on this piece were made of hand dyed orange silk--and placed in memory of a sighting of flying fish. It was then machine quilted and bound with organdy ribbon.
The piece measures 13.5" x 20.5". The price is $500.
