A piece of hand dyed silk was cut and fused to a black wool surface. The piece was stitched with variegated thread, and then cut and realigned to imitate rock fractures. It was quilted in vertical lines.
The piece measures 36" x 39", and is to be included in the show, Form, Not Function during the winter of 2008, in New Albany, Indiana.
