This piece began as a linen dresser scarf. It was hand dyed, and then discharge paste was used to remove the color (the light greenish bits). The circles were then appliqued on, and the piece was machine stitched. Added highlights were embroidered by hand.
The piece measures 18"w x 32"h, and is priced at $1000.
